Mat Nails

Mit allen möglichen Mitteln wurde nun jahrelang dafür gesorgt, dass Nägel möglichst fest glänzen. Doch dieser Trend ist nun vorbei - diesen Sommer müssen Nägel matt sein. Unvorstellbar? Dachte ich auch...

Als ich die ersten Bilder von matten Nägeln sah, war ich mir nicht sicher was ich davon halten soll. Irgendwie gefielen mir die Bilder, jedoch blieben Zweifel. Also entschied ich mich, einen matten Top-Coat zu kaufen & es auszuprobieren.

Diese Entscheidung hat sich absolut gelohnt - mittlerweile liebe ich matte Nägel. Ob strahlende Sommer-Farben oder düstere Schlechtwetter-Farben - alles sieht in matt super aus.

Auf dem Foto habe ich den matten Top-Coat mit einer knalligen Farbe kombiniert. Wie gefällt es euch?

When I saw the first picture of matt nails, I wasn't sure what to think about it. Somehow I liked it, but I still had some doubts. So I deceided to buy a matt top coat & try it.

This decision was absolutely worth it - I love matt nails now. Whether bright summer colors or dark bad-weather colors - everything looks great in matt.

I Like It Baggy

Ja meine Lieben, es ist so: Ich liebe Baggy-Pants! Diese Hosen sind der absolute Wahnsinn: Sie sind mega stylish, ein absoluter Hingucker & vor allem extrem bequem! Das einzige Problem: Man muss extrem darauf achten, wie man sie kombiniert.

Wird eine Baggy Hose falsch kombiniert, kann es sehr schnell nach "Ghetto-Gangster" aussehen & das wollen wir ja nicht. Richtig kombiniert verleiht diese Hose jedoch jedem Outfit einen stylishen Casual-Touch.

Ich habe diese Woche zwei Mal eine Baggy-Shorts getragen. Diese habe ich beide Male mit Blusen kombiniert. So ergibt sich ein elegantes Outfit mit einem Touch von Casual.

Well my dears, it's true: I love baggy pants! These pants are absolutely amazing: They're stylish, a real eye-catcher & all above they're extremly comfortable! The only problem: You have to look how to combine them.

If a baggy pant is combined incorrectly, it can very quickly look like a "Ghetto Gangster" & we really don't want that. But right combined this pants give every outfit a stylish casual touch.

I've twice wore a baggy shorts this week. Both times I've combined them with a blouse. The result is an elegant outfit with a casual touch.

Birthday Party

Letzte Woche war es mal wieder soweit: Ich wurde ein Jährchen älter. Wie jedes Jahr, musste dies natürlich richtig gefeiert werden. Aus diesem Grund trommelte ich am Freitag all meine liebsten Menschen zusammen & machte mit ihnen die Nacht zum Tag!

Es war wirklich ein sehr gelungener Abend. Wir lachten, tanzten, tranken - wir hatten einfach eine gute Zeit. Mit den richtigen Leuten kann eben nie etwas falsch gehen! Nochmals ein riesen Dankeschön an all meine Mädels & Jungs für diesen genialen Abend! LOVE YOU, GUYS!<3

Zur perfekten Party gehört natürlich auch das richtige Outfit. Wie jedes Jahr hatte ich einen riesen Stress - ich fand nichts zum anziehen! In letzter Minute fand ich dann das perfekte Outfit in meinem Schrank.

Ich trug eine schwarze Leder-Hotpants & kombinierte diese mit einem weissen Rüschen-Shirt. Dazu trug ich schwarze HighHeels - natürlich mit Nieten. Auch die Tasche, welche ich von meinem Freund bekommen habe, durfte natürlich nicht fehlen.

Last week it was time again: I was getting another year older. Like every other year, I of course had to celebrate this. For this reason I've picked all my best ones together on friday & we made night into day!

It was a really great evening. We laughed, danced, drank - we just had a really good time. With the right people nothing can go wrong! Again a big thank you to all my girls & boys for this brilliant evening! LOVE YOU, GUYS!<3

The perfect party of course includes the right outfit. Like every year, I had a huge stress - I found nothing to wear! At the last minute I found the perfect outfit in my closet.

I wore a black leather hotpants & combined them with a white ruffled shirt. Furthermore I wore black high heels - of course with spikes. Of course I also wore the bag, which I've got from my boyfriend.

Moon and Stars 2013

So meine Lieben... Sorry, dass ich euch so lange auf einen neuen Post warten liess, aber ich verbrachte die letzten Tage am Moon and Stars in Locarno.

Schon lange freute ich mich darauf, wieder einen Teil diese Festivals sein zu dürfen. Die Atmosphäre dieses ganz speziellen Openairs ist einfach einzigartig.

Auch dieses Jahr stand ich wieder hinter der Bar auf der Piazza Magnolia & es war wieder einen super Zeit. Was mir besonders gefällt ist, dass man seine Arbeitskollegen auf eine ganz spezielle Weise kennen lernt. Dadurch dass man in der Nacht arbeitet & nach der Arbeit auch mal was zusammen trinkt, lernt man sich viel schneller, viel intensiver kennen.

Auch die Musik war dieses Jahr sehr gut. Obwohl keiner der Künstler meinem Musikgeschmack entspricht, war ich von allen Konzerten sehr begeistert. Die Stimmung auf dieser Piazza ist einfach Gold wert!

Leider sind die 10 Tage nun vorbei & ich musste mich wieder einmal von Locarno & vielen tollen Leuten verabschieden. Ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle nochmals ganz herzlich bei allen für diese tolle Zeit bedanken! Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt dem Piazza Magnolia Team - Ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit mit euch. Ihr seid die Besten!<3

So my dears.. Sorry for the long waiting time for a new post, but I've spent the last few days at the Moon and Stars in Locarno.

I was looking forward for a long time to be a part of this festival again. The atmosphere of this very special open air is unique.

I was back behind the bar at the Piazza Magnolia this year & it was a really great time. What I like the most about this job is, that you get to know your work colleagues in a very special way. You know each other much faster & much intense than normal, because you work at night & also have some after work drinks together.

Also the music was very good this year. Although none of the artists suits my taste of music, I was very excited by all the concerts. The mood on this Piazza is just worth gold!

Unfortunately the 10 days are over now & again I had to say goodbye to Locarno & many great people. I would like to take this opportunity say thank all of you once again for this great time! A very special thanks goes to the Piazza Magnolia Team - I had a really great time with you guys. You're the best!<3

Beautiful Spring Day

Diese Woche hatten wir mal wieder wunderschönes Wetter & so konnte ich auch meinen Kleidungstil wieder dem Frühling / Sommer anpassen.

Wie bereits mehrmals erwähnt, gefällt mir diese Jahreszeit ja unglaublich gut. Ich finde es gibt keine andere Jahreszeit, welche so viele schöne Kleidung mit sich bringt.

Diese Mal habe ich ein etwas eleganteres Frühlingsoutfit gewählt. Dieses eignet sich perfekt für die Arbeit. Ich trage eine graue 7/8 Hose & dazu ein schlichtes weisses Shirt. Abgerundet wird das Outfit mit schwarzen Absatz-Sandalen.

Besonders die Schuhe mag ich an diesem Outfit. Aufgrund des kleinen Absatzes sind sie elegant & man kann sie immer tragen. Diese Schuhe werdet ihr diesen Sommer bestimmt noch öfters sehen ;)

We had very beautiful weather this week & so I could adjust my clothing style to spring / summer.

As already mentioned several times, I like this season very much. I think there's no other season, which brings so many beautiful clothes with it.

This time I've chosen a more elegant spring outfit. It's perfect for work. I'm wearing a grey 7/8 pants & a plain white shirt. I've combined this with black high heeled sandals.

I especially like the shoes about this outfit. Because of the small heel they're elegant & you can always wear them. I'm sure you gonna see this shoes ofen this summer ;)

New Nails

Ich hatte  Jahre lang Probleme, lange Nägel zu tragen. Meine Nägel sind von Natur aus so brüchig, dass sie mir jedes Mal wieder abbrachen, wenn sie ein bisschen länger waren. Vor ungefähr 7 Jahren fand ich dann die Lösung: Gel Nägel.

Super Idee, jedoch war die Umsetzung echt schwer. Ich wechselte konstant meine Naildesignerin, weil ich bei keiner so richtig zufrieden war. Entweder machten sie mir die Nägel zu künstlich oder die Nägel brachen mir nach wenigen Tagen ab. Dazu kam noch, dass es mich jedes Mal eine Stange Geld kostete.

Also entschied ich mich dazu, die Nägel selbst zu machen & man siehe: Meine Nägel sind so, wie ich sie will & sie halten. Am Anfang kostete es schon etwas, bis man die ganzen Utensilien zusammen hat, aber es lohnt sich. Immerhin spare ich mir die Kosten der Naildesignerin & meine Nerven. Zudem kann ich mir die Nägel dann machen, wann ich Zeit habe.

Auf jeden Fall.. Habe ich schon immer die gleiche Nagelform getragen - diese typische Gel-Nagel-Form. & langsam wurde mir dies einfach zu langweilig. Also entschied ich mich, meine Nägel in eine andere Form zu feilen. Die Inspiration kam von den Nägeln von Rihanna - meine Version ist einfach etwas kürzer ;)

I've always had a problem to wear long nails. My nails were so fragile that they broke every time when they were a little longer. About 7 years ago I found the solutions: Gel nails.

Great idea, but the implementation wasn't that easy. I've often changed my naildesigner, because I never was satisfied. Either my nails were to fake or they broke after a few days. Added to this it cost me a lot of money.

So I deceided to make my nails self & the result: My nails are the way I want them & they don't brake after a few days. At the beginning it cost a bit until you have all these utensils together, but it's worth it. After all, I save the money for the naildesigner & my nerves. In addition, I can make my nails, when I've got time for it.

Anyway... I've always had the same nail shape - this typical gel nail shape. But this was just too boring. So I deceided to make my nails in a different form. I took the inspiration from Rihanna's nails - but my version is a bit shorter ;)

Rihanna in Concert!

Schon seit mehreren Monaten freute ich mich auf den vergangenen Samstag. Ich konnte es kaum erwarten & zählte schon lange die Tage. Am Samstag war es dann soweit: Rihanna kehrte mit ihrer "Diamond's World Tour" ins Zürcher Hallenstadion zurück & ich war mittendrin.

Ich bin wirklich ein riesen Fan von ihr. Ich bewundere diese Frau, ich liebe ihre Musik, ich bin begeistert von ihrem Style... Kurz gesagt: She's fucking AMAZING!

& genauso amazing wie sie ist, war auch ihr Konzert. Sie zeigte sich in mehreren Outfits, welche alle absolut spitze waren & überzeugte mit einer gewaltigen Show.  Bei den Songs zeigte sie alles von alt bis neu. Sie präsentierte ihre neusten Werke von ihrem aktuellen Album, bis hin zu alten Hits wie "Umbrella".

Auch ihr strahlendes Gesicht überzeugte mich sehr. & ihre warmen Worte ans Zürcher Volk machten den Abend noch besser.

Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass Geld hat sich gelohnt, es war ein wahnsinniger Abend & ich freue mich schon, wenn sie bald wieder nach Zürich kommt.

I was looking forward to the last Saturday for several months. I couldn't wait for this day & I really count the days. On Saturday the day finally has come: Rihanna returned with her "Diamond's World Tour" to the Zurich Hallenstadion & I was there.

I'm a really huge fan of her. I admire this woman, I love her music, I'm fascinated by her style.. It's simple: She's fucking AMAZING!

& just as amazing she's, was her concert. She showed up in several outfits & all were absolutely great. Furthermore she convinced with a great show. She picked songs from old to new. She presented her latest works from her current album, to old hits like "Umbrella".

Also her smiling face impressed me very much. & her warm words to her fans in Zurich made the evening even better.

I really need to say that the money was worth it, it was an amazing night & I'm looking forward to see Rihana another time in Zurich.
